Your North Texas Storm Season Roof Checklist
Every spring and summer, North Texas homeowners watch the sky a little more closely. Hail, straight-line winds, and driving rain can take years off a roof in a single afternoon, and the damage isn't always obvious from the driveway.
Before the storm
Clear your gutters and downspouts so water has somewhere to go. Trim back branches that hang over the roofline. Take a few photos of your roof and yard on a clear day. That simple record makes an enormous difference if you ever need to file a claim.
After the storm
Walk your property from the ground. Look for granules collecting at the bottom of downspouts, dented gutters or vents, and shingles that look bruised or missing. Check ceilings and attic decking for damp spots or daylight.
When to call us
