Meet Duane Sparks
Duane Sparks is the Owner and Operator of JF Roofing, a company founded on faith, integrity, and a genuine commitment to serving others. With 17 years of experience as a contractor and over 6 years in the roofing industry, Duane brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to every project. After years in the roofing industry, Duane launched JF Roofing in 2026 with a clear vision: to build a company that homeowners can trust, where honesty, quality workmanship, and customer care are the foundation of every job.
Duane’s greatest blessing is his family. He and his wife, Amanda, have been married since 2009 and are the proud parents of their son, Caleb, and daughter, Kylie. Together they personally built their home in Glen Rose, Texas, where they enjoy raising their family and investing in their local community.
Faith is the foundation of everything the Sparks family does. They faithfully serve at their local church and believe that serving others is one of the greatest ways to live out God’s calling. Whether helping a neighbor, supporting their church, or walking homeowners through one of the biggest investments they’ll ever make, Duane strives to reflect Christ through integrity, compassion, and excellence.

One verse that has always held a special place in the Sparks family's hearts is Psalm 91:4:

Meet the team
Troy Wilson brings four years of roofing experience and a lifelong background in general construction to the JF Roofing team. A Texas native, Troy grew up in Glen Rose, moved to Granbury in 2002, and has called Tolar home for the past four years. These communities are home, and he values the opportunity to serve the families and businesses around him.
Troy’s path into sales began unexpectedly in 2020 after he lost his oilfield job during the pandemic. What started as a necessary change became a blessing for his family. He discovered that he enjoyed helping people find solutions—and that his new career allowed him to come home to his family each night.
As a salesman and project manager, Troy helps homeowners understand their roofing needs, walks them through their options, and helps coordinate their projects from the initial conversation through completion. His role includes explaining the scope of work, communicating project updates, coordinating with the JF Roofing team, and making sure customers have someone to turn to with questions along the way.
Troy understands that roofing problems can bring stress, uncertainty, and unfamiliar decisions. He enjoys helping customers work through those challenges with honest answers, practical solutions, and clear communication. He also brings a sense of humor and a friendly approach. As Troy puts it, “We might even become best friends!”
JF Roofing’s philosophy—“Educate you, facilitate your needs, and add value to your life”—reflects how Troy believes people should be treated. He takes time to explain options so homeowners can make confident decisions, stays responsive to their needs, and works to make the experience as smooth as possible. His goal is for every customer to feel informed, supported, and better prepared to care for their home.
Outside of work, Troy’s priorities are God, family, and his lawn—in that order, although he jokes that his family might question the lawn’s ranking. He puts plenty of care into creating a yard his family can enjoy and be proud of. And if “Yard of the Month” happens to come along, he certainly wouldn’t turn it down.
